GRAPHIC PRINTING

A few days ago I walked to Via Condotti and in Prada's shop window was displayed the summer 2013 "Capsule Collection", geometric prints, graphics and lines ... I was immediately reminded of an old cloth preserved along with other pieces of fabric, I came home and scissors in hand .. zac I made this skirt!

Qualche giorno fa passeggiavo per via Condotti e nella vetrina di Prada era esposta la "Capsule Collection" estate 2013, stampe geometriche, grafiche e righe...mi è subito venuta in mente una vecchia stoffa conservata insieme ad altre pezze, sono tornata a casa e forbici alla mano..zac ho fatto questa gonna!

This graphic print remind me of the Elie Kishimoto's prints, their creations have been displayed on the catwalks of the world through their work with Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Alber Elbaz and Jil Sander, among others.
Questi grafismi mi ricordano le stampe grafiche di Elie Kishimoto, le loro creazioni sono state esposte sulle passerelle di tutto il mondo attraverso il loro lavoro con Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Alber Elbaz e Jil Sander, tra gli altri.

A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM (INTRASTEVERE)

Come ogni anno a Roma si tiene la Notte dei Musei, una notte in cui tutti i musei aprono gratuitamente le porte al pubblico, organizzano eventi speciali e rimangono aperti fino a tarda notte. Noi abbiamo scelto di andare al museo Intrastevere che da qualche settimana ha in mostra la bellissime e fortissime foto vincitrici del premio foto giornalistico World Press Photo 2013, e che nel suo cortile ha ospitato un'anteprima del Live Performers Meeting 2013 con musica elettronica e proiezioni di Noitu, Eho live av performance, Emiko.

Ecco qualche immagine della piacevole serata e qualche foto di quelle più innocue.

As every year in Rome saturday night there was the Night of Museums, a night in which all museums open their doors to the public free of charge, organize special events and stay open until late at night. We chose to goat the Intrastevere museum that was showcasing the beautiful and strong winning photos of the photo journalistic award World Press Photo 2013 and that in its backyard hosted a preview of the Live Performers Meeting 2013, with electronic music and projections by Noitu , Eho live av performance, Emiko. HATS:PHILIP TREACY VS MAISON MICHEL

Philip Treacy was born in Ireland , but he moved to Dublin in 1985 to study fashion at the National College of Art & Design in London. He has designed hats for Alexander Mc Queen's white Haute Coutoure collection at Givenchy in Paris, for Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel, and for Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan. He was awarded the title of British Accessory Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards on five occasions during the early 1990s. Isabella Blow, style editor of Tatler, helped Treacy launch himself as a well known milliner and wore many of his hats.

Maison Michel was founded in 1936 by Auguste Michel in Paris. From 70's Maison Michel creates hats for the haute couture and prêt-à-porter collections of companies such as Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Nina Ricci, Laroche, Lanvin and Christian Lacroix. From 2006 Laetitia Crahay, in charge of Chanel’s accessories and jewelry, is artistic director of Maison Michel.

PINK IS THE COLOR

Powder pink, candy pink, flesh pink, dusty rose, neon pink, fuchsia pink ... Pink has an infinite number of shades each with a very specific character, but especially pink has a unique strong identity: pink is female!
Rosa cipria, rosa confetto, rosa carne, rosa antico, rosa fluo, fuxia...il rosa ha un'infinità di sfumature ognuna con un carattere ben preciso, ma soprattutto il rosa ha un'unica fortissima identità: il rosa è femmina!
